Hercules adopts Windows 7 for ECAF


Is this really the first netbook to adopt Windows 7 officially ? The answer is YES.

Hercules has decided to revamp its entire eCafé from the outside as inside. Named EC-1000W, this new version is the result of consumer research conducted by the manufacturer to improve its netbook . If Hercules was specifically addressed the design of its equipment and some new hardware and software are still emerging. ECAF this poster and a diagonal screen larger (10.1 inches) and features a 250 GB hard drive and Wi-Fi n. About the processor, the Intel Atom at 1.6 GHz was chosen, as on the EC-900, but the RAM has been doubled to 1GB of RAM, which is still a fair bit, knowing the netbook boasts course of the last Microsoft OS.

Comes with a six-cell battery of 4400 mAh, the ECAF EC-1000W should be available from October 22, 2009 at a price of 349 euros. An online storage space of 50GB is available to users netbook.
